Excuse our brief hiatus, this blog is still operational.
The A-D sports department is making the transition from the fall sports season to winter sports. That means we’re taking anywhere between 20-50 phone calls per night for the next three weeks. Hence, our absence from this blog.
I’ll be doing my best to keep everyone updated on the latest happenings in local sports.
First, in Tuesday’s A-D you will receive a complete breakdown of every football all-league selection from around the Mid-Valley.
We are currently in the process of selecting our A-D All-Area team. Many people have asked when we will be releasing the team. Expect the football and volleyball All-Area squads to be released right before Christmas.
Last basketball season, I started providing weekly rankings. I have not abandoned that task. I will release the first set of rankings in Monday’s A-D.
The podcast will also make a return this week. Andy Arrenquin and I will break down the opening of basketball season and give a mini preview. Look for the podcast on Thursday morning.

Hey Thanks guys,
Was curious about the blog, but know and understand the calls you guys receive are numerous and thanks for the bball updates in the Roundup……I know it is still early and everyone is tourney mode, so it is good to get a first look at some of our bball squads and if we may or may not have any teams that could make a section run or even a state run.
