Great podcast. Great slate of games across the North Section. I think D II is very strong this year, hope Sutter can help get D II more respect after Friday night. Playoffs should be a whole lot of fun in both divisions.

Nice Job again guys, really appreciate your efforts and the thorough coverage of our local teams…….definitely a couple of big games on the docket this week…..MHS vs. LHS, let’s hope this game goes on without incident, like you mentioned nothing better than in 2008 when these teams met in the SJS DVI Section Final, I also remember the caravan leaving LHS to go to War Memorial Stadium…let’s have these teams work back to having a great rivalvry without any destruction of property……RVHS vs. IHS what needs to be said, can RV finally figure a way to deal with adversity if they fall behind, or do they do what they did to Pioneer and just jump on them early and ride the lead to the end….and for us Husky Fans…..SUHS traveling up to EHS, this was a game everyone knew would be big, EHS is a great team that has proved it’s worth with wins over Chico, Foothill, and Del Campo….so a win by the Huskies and they will be ready to make the push for maybe a play in game for DIII Norcal…..as you guys mentioned they are ranked in the 5th slot for DIII, but I believe 3 teams ahead of them are in the same Section and Division (Marin Catholic, Campolinda, El Cerrito) these teams will need to play each other to get to a Section Title…..so if Sutter can play well up Redding and then continue forward they control their destiny…..

Great job on the whole podcast. I will just comment on the RV/Inderkum game. It has always been better to play Inderkum later in the season than early, they have grade problems. Most of the kids Inderkum lost this week is because of grades, not just injuries. This should help RV’s JV team stay unbeatin as well because Inderkum brought up a number of JV players to help their varsity team. RV has some athletes and they can win this game if they don’t panic, if they fall behind. But don’t think Inderkum isn’t going to still be very very good. They also get back one of their top players from last year who has not been playing this year due to injury. So this should be a great game. I’m going to enjoy being down at Inderkum again for the second time this year and hope to see a another Yuba City team beat Inderkum. Go Falcons.

Good point about not panicking. Inderkum is historically a very (very!) fast starting team, but tends to wane in the second half. They jumped all over PG and almost lost that game in the second half. Same with YC last year.

Don’t feel pressure to match them offensively. Grind the clock and try to keep it close early. With Quintana and Dove at the corners I think RV will be just fine.

Man, the TCC is really down this year. Woodland has lost a lot of players to injuries, PHS is working through a downturn of talent and Indy is in a world of hurt.

Very nice to see our area have the cream of the crop. I think YC will be very hard to beat this year.

Looking forward to the Sutter / Enterprise game. While EHS scores a lot of points, they give up a lot as well. Will comes down to SU defense and, honestly, that’s a nice thing to have the game come down to…

    Good luck to all…
